Geoffrey Simpson

Geoff was called to the Bar in 2014 and practices primarily in the area of family law. He is committed to assisting separated parents facing the process of negotiating family law issues - parenting orders, property settlements and Children’s Court matters.

He recognises that this is a very stressful time for families and attempts to minimise the financial cost of litigation by keeping his fees to a minimum, or working on a pro bono basis where that is appropriate.

Prior to studying law, Geoff had a long career in metallurgy and engineering. This included owning and managing a manufacturing business, so he is well equipped to understand and assist clients facing legal problems in their businesses.

Geoff has considerable knowledge and experience of contracts, employment issues, OH&S, partnership issues etc, that may assist clients facing those types of difficulty.
